Our Company

Dynamic Education Ltd was formed in response to the recognised need for the efficient and effective development of front line leaders within the Health and Social Services Sector in New Zealand. It is the result of a joint venture between Dynamic Leadership Ltd and Edutech KM Ltd.

The company brings together the skills and experience of three key people as Directors: specific clinical, health-related management expertise and 10 years of action research in Diana MacDonald, proficiency in the development of educational resources in Heather Sylvawood and instructional design expertise and 12 years of project management experience in Sarah Marsh.

Leadership Courses

Transitioning Clinicians to Leadership is a competency-based blended learning course for successfully transitioning clinicians to Leadership.

The course builds on the existing capital and intellectual capability of clinicians. It succeeds because it is based on what clinicians already know and can apply immediately, thereby reducing both cost and risk associated with the first 12 months of inexperienced new clinical managers.

The content of the course is based on New Zealand action research (a 6.5 year study of what is working and what is not working). When applied to a whole organisation it will create a culture change in the organisation to one of coaching, learning and collective brilliance.

DIRECTORS

DYNAMIC EDUCATION COMPANY DIRECTORS

Diana MacDonald has 35 years experience working in health as a clinician, a senior manager and as an independent consultant. In 2003 Diana established Dynamic Leadership Ltd to provide consultancy and management support to the wider health and social services sector. As a result of a life time of work in this field she is highly respected for her deep understanding of the requirements, the strengths and areas where improvement is required.

Heather Sylvawood has worked as a newspaper journalist and editor and has 14 years of experience in creating educational resources. In 2002, Heather joined Edutech KM. She has been involved in the writing and development of several, innovative mixed-media learning packages, often to fulfil the criteria of national standards. Heather has an intense interest in new technologies and brings great creativity to the team.

Sarah Marsh has a lifelong passion for training and workforce development and established her own business in 1996. Over the years she has gained considerable experience managing projects and developing training and performance support resources for a wide range of clients. In sharing this experience, Sarah is well placed to offer valuable independent advice to organisations. Her skills include needs analysis, project management, process mapping and instructional design.
